General Specifications
- Empiria Studio can analyze the following assay types: multiwell plate assays, Western blots (e.g., quantitative, qualitative, dot blots, and slot blots), protein gels, nucleic acid gels, slides, and small animal images.
- Empiria Studio can analyze blots and gels with up to 26 lanes to accommodate most common gels and membranes from multiple vendors.
- Image Format: Empiria Studio is designed to analyze images acquired on the following LI-COR imagers: Odyssey M, Odyssey F, Odyssey CLx, Odyssey DLx, Odyssey Fc, Odyssey XF, C-DiGit, Odyssey Classic, Odyssey Sa, Aerius, and Pearl Trilogy.

Screen size: Certain components of the Empiria Studio user interface will not display optimally on screen sizes below 1320 x 800 pixels. A screen size of 1920 x 1080 is better for viewing entire plate images for analysis.

Dedicated graphics hardware will improve computer performance when working with large, high resolution images. Slide images are likely to be large, high resolution images.
